Joan the What?

From piano songs to sophisticated alternative electro-pop, via fractured loops, found sounds and samples, Joan the Wad produces a uniquely heady mix of unsettling and irresistible sounds.

With mellifluous vocals, ethereal harmonies and thoughtful lyricism to boot.

Named after a moor-dwelling, torch-bearing,  willo-the-wisp Pixie Queen, inspired by beauty, colour, noises, nature, dreams, poetry and politics. Light in the darkness.
